Transportation from Taoyuan International Airport to Shangri-La Far Eastern Tainan:

1. Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT from Taoyuan International Airport to Taoyuan HSR Station (approximately 20 minutes).
2. Transfer to the Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) and take a southbound train to Tainan HSR Station (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes).
3. From Tainan HSR Station, you may:

• Take a taxi directly to Shangri-La Far Eastern Tainan (approximately 25–30 minutes), or
• Take the Shalun Line train to Tainan Railway Station (approximately 25 minutes). Please exit from the rear exit of Tainan Railway Station. The hotel is directly across the street.​

Transportation from Kaohsiung International Airport to Shangri-La Far Eastern Tainan:

1. Take the Kaohsiung MRT Red Line from Kaohsiung International Airport Station (R4) to Kaohsiung Main Station (R11) (approximately 20 minutes).
2. Transfer to the Taiwan Railway (TRA) and take a northbound train to Tainan Railway Station (approximately 40–50 minutes).
3. Please exit from the rear exit of Tainan Railway Station. The hotel is directly across the street.​
